The best rewards are:
- Result of a desired behavior/action
- Reasonable and logical
- Clearly explained when rules are developed
- Posted
- Associated with classroom rules
- Shared and supported by administrators and parents
- Indicate a time factor associated with it (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Earned, not given
- Provide feedback to individuals as well as the whole class
