Classroom Management - Behavior in the Classroom

Strategies

Many of the behavior incidents in a classroom can be handled with simple changes and accommodations and do not require a behavior management or intervention plan.

It is important for teachers to remember that children are learning about their place in the world. They require room to make mistakes and grow in a safe environment. Also, it is necessary to try to maintain a sense of humor when working with children. It can make a big difference in establishing and maintaining an effective learning environment.
